Kimchi Fried Rice is probably on the top of the list for most traditional and popular Korean dishes alongside Bi-Bim-Bap and Bulgogi. It’s so easy to make when my friends tell me they’re coming over and I don’t have a dish ready, I’ll whip up some Kimchi Fried Rice with what I have at home and everyone is happy. It is not only easy to make, our recipe will be a hit in both taste and presentation.
Instead of just the sunny side up egg we usually put on our Kimchi Fried Rice, we tried something different.
Jayone Cooked 5 Grain Rice
Spam 3 oz(84g)
Jayone Canned Kimchi
Mixed Vegetables 3oz(84g)
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese 1 Cup
2 Green onions 30g
2 Medium eggs
Sea’s Gift Sweet Seaweed Snack 2 Tbsp
Red Pepper Powder 1 Tbsp
Soy Sauce 1 Tbsp
Sugar ½ Tbsp
Skillet(optional for presentation)-have it heating while you’re making the kimchi fried rice
How to make:
Heat up pan with medium heat and add oil.
Add green onion
Add kimchi, spam and stir
Once kimchi and spam are golden, add rice and mixed vegetables
Move the finished kimchi fried rice to a rice bowl
Turn the rice bowl over and place rice in the middle of the heated skillet
Pour egg around the kimchi fried rice and add cheese all around where the egg was poured
Let everyone dig in and eat the kimchi fried rice with the egg and cheese. Let them be impressed with both presentation and taste!
